It is so bad right now- that’s the reason why you are seeing so many more people and despair- not just the bombings- it’s a famine

there’s no difference between supporting deportation because of the votes of immigrants and supporting bombings and exterminations because of the actions of militants

thoughts about whether the parables novels are #solarpunk? the wider world is a dystopia until the epilogue of the second novel, but things do get better at the curtain and (probably more crucial) the whole main through-line is that we keep ourselves safe and we can live with and trust each other 👀📚

i know there are issues with doctorow / he’s as problematic as any fave. but i can’t stop thinking about #walkaway. we’ll never be able to meet the zottas in symmetrical combat and aspiring to do so would make us them. let them have it, we’ll walk away.

I have a biology degree. I’m by no means an authority, but I’m certainly qualified enough to understand most trans activists don’t even have a cursory understanding of the subject.

I am probably holding my nose and voting for Harris but I’m also aggressively unfollowing anyone who puts something on my timeline being shitty about how leftist votes are owed. If the Democrats wanted our votes they had a lot of ways to get them.

I’ve said this so many times: arguing with potential voters that “Trump would be worse” when they express genuine concern about how Harris is handling Palestine is not the way to gain or maintain voters who have made genocide their red line.
