Books aren't expensive.

Writers are at the bottom of a large column of people making money off books.

We get screwed the most.

By the publishing industry and the fucking pirates.

You like books? Buy them, or go to the library.

Or there won't be any writers to make the art.

They mean this Anya Chalotra?

The female voice returned to announce the message had been left yesterday. That meant the bartender wanted him at the shipyards tonight, potentially in the middle of taking down the Redcloaks. Jeff looked towards the dog. "He could have #timed it better."

The dog woofed. #vss365

It would be the biggest troll of all time for you to play the first few shows in the bald cap, until the news outlets are reporting that you shaved your head for the tour - and then remove the cap for the next few shows until they report it was a gag - and then actually shave your hair off.

That incident didn't seem at all #relevant now, but Jeff let the message continue.

"I don't have a lot of time. They're on to me. Come to the CNE shipyards tomorrow night at 10. If I don't make it... everything will be explained. I'm trusting you."

A beep, then silence. #vss365

"Hey, it's me - Danny, the bartender from the other day. You left me your card."

The popper at the Lakeshore bar was a distant memory after the events of yesterday. His visit there had begun as an easily #achievable task for the Redcloaks, and then rapidly gone downhill. #vss365

I guessed it had something to do with video games, which I suppose is along the right train of thought.

I'll add another, lesser-known album to my previous response.

It's not because they're both circles. As far as you can prove.

He locked eyes with the dog. "Let's see if they've made any #measurable progress on finding me." He touched the bottom surface of the earpiece to tell it to play the message.

A man's voice that sounded familiar but that he couldn't quite place spoke to him in a panic. #vss365

He couldn't recall whether it had the same #specific patterns, but the two were definitely of a kind. "That's a mystery for later," he muttered to himself.

He keyed the earpiece. It came alive with a cheerful pre-recorded female voice. "You have one new message waiting." #vss365

...I mean, it could be like that...

"Come on," he ordered the dog. "Let's get somewhere with less sidewalk #action."

It took him a few minutes to find an empty alley to duck into. Its walls bore similar graffiti to that which was in the alleyway behind the Monterey Cafe, drawn in the same cerulean blue. #vss365

Before he could consider any #options for it, he suddenly remembered his earpiece having announced he had a message waiting. It was probably some routine communique from Redcloak Headquarters that he'd received by mistake. That meant there could be something useful in it. #vss365
