#Zootopia2 continues the creative world-building and fun animal jokes of the first film, along with a worthwhile message about not hating someone just because they're different. Also appreciated that Nick and Judy's relationship remains platonic.

Two years ago, the controversial Disney film Wish was released.

I haven't been kind to the film, not without reason, but these days I consider just there.

What you guys think?

I mean, I personally liked it. In a time when the mouse relies more on sequels and remakes, this film was a breath of fresh air, on the surface level at least.
Could've it been better? Yes, but I'm not going to treat it like the boogeyman everybody else does.

And here's another unpopular opinion: I want Disney to continue experimenting with the cel shaded art style, like in this film & Paperman. It basically a combination of 2D, which is what we yearn for out of the company, and 3D, which is they probably won't move on from anytime soon.

I liked it. Is it one of Disney’s best? No, but it’s nowhere near the worst. Dinosaur, Home on the Range, and Chicken Little are right there.
I thought its heart was in the right place, I enjoyed most of the songs, and it felt like the filmmakers wanted to make a sincere 100th anniversary tribute.

News Flash: Nobody cares about Touchstone Pictures anymore and Miramax was doing okay on their own without the Weinsteins bringing them down.

If Paramount Skydance (now under David Ellison and Jeff Shell) bought Marvel and Lucasfilm, there would be a massive cluster fuck of cancelations.

Screw this! Live Action Disney remakes are a complete waste of time, I wish Touchstone Pictures comes back and Miramax would be a part of Disney again
And I wish Paramount bought Marvel and Lucasfilm instead of Disney
Don’t you think

Mamoru Hosoda’s #Scarlet / #ScarletMovie has a helluva Act 1 (hot dayum does it!) and certainly is gorgeously animated throughout. However, the middle meanders when the gender-swapped spin on Shakespeare needed to be tighter. Contains solid sentiments on forgiveness vs. revenge.

…Actually, compared to what other people are sharing, this score actually isn’t terrible. Then again, considering how social media is treating it, you’d expect this would be much lower.

That, and the unneeded comparisons of Willy Wonka to a certain famous deceased musician and claiming he was based off of him (he wasnt).

Against my better judgment, I watched a certain comedian's recent video on Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"...only to get annoyed at him frequently calling it a remake and not judging it as an adaptation of the book or on its own merits.

The teaser didn’t do this movie justice. Unhinged is right and it’s refreshingly different for Pixar. I hope they promote it more.

Wow, if I had a nickel for every time Meryl Streep voiced the queen of a colony of insects, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
