More Audio Book Info

All of my T-Tales should soon be available as audiobooks, on both Amazon and Audible. Except for Shadowland, my second Patsy Conroy trans detective book. I have to adjust the format of that one, apparently. Stay tuned.

Just set up my Transgender Tales books on Amazon as audiobooks. Amazon just enabled this function, using AI narration. And surprisingly, it sounds pretty good.

I had been hoping to produce audio book versions of my novels using my own voice, but that turned out to be a difficult project.

Just discovered thetransfemininereview.com
And the author there had some kind words to say about my book Short Stuff.

Thanks for that. And for pointing me to the greater world of trans feminine literature. I have a lot of reading to do.

And more writing, too.

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.

remembering fondly when people were like "don't promote 50501, it's not real, it's a psyop"
I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff

I'm so sick of takes like "oh, it's always been like this if you were paying attention." No, it hasn't and you're lying if you say that it has. You're normalizing the brutality.
I have to assume there were people during the peak of the Nazi killing spree in Europe still saying “oh, this isn’t REALLY any different from how the German government behaved BEFORE the Nazis - which you’d understand if you were *paying attention*”

I have to believe this so I don’t go insane

But why Short Stuff, and no other of my dozen or so trans novels?
Who the hell knows. It would be interesting to feed this AI one of my books that feature AI as a plot element, though.
Solstice, for example. Or Goethe Street. Or Shadowland.

What would an AI make of those?

it is, I must admit, interesting to think that my work, my thoughts, and (indirectly) my life, has been incorporated into something with widespread impact and influence. A book I wrote has been used to train the Meta AI. A part of me has been woven into this huge collective tapestry.
March 29, 2025 at 7:48 PM
So, one of my books, Short Stuff, is on the list of books used by Meta to train its AI. And that’s a double edged sword for me. I don’t like having my work used by someone else for commercial products without receiving compensation.
And yet, there is an interesting other thought that occurs.

Kristi Noem billed South Dakota taxpayers more than $640,000 in personal travel-related costs, including a six-day trip to Paris, a bear hunt in Canada, a trip to Houston for dental work to fix her smile, and a book tour. But she can afford a $50,000 Rolex for a prison porn photo op in El Salvador.
Kristi Noem refused to say who financed some of her travel. It was taxpayers who were on the hook
An Associated Press analysis of recently released travel records found more than $150,000 in expenses tied to Noem’s political and personal activity.

X is not worth 33 billion. He basically just paid himself $33B from another company, presumably to pay off his debts from the initial buy because he knows he'll never be able to raise the capital from X itself.

He is his own ponzi scheme.

It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.
