So does anyone else think that, if we invest our time & energy into Bluessky , as we did for years into Twitter, that we should have a stake in its ownership?

Perhaps it should become a cooperative (a community benefit society) owned by it's members, for community benefit & not be flog offable?
❌️Tomorrow Exeter says loud and clear: no to hatred and racism.

Saturday a day of building connections & friendship locally & internationally. I attended the raising of the Polish Flag, above the Guildhall, along with many people connected to the Polish 307 Squadron, who defended Exeter during the Blitz. Many local people visited the exhibition.

✍️ Green councillors in Exeter have written to @steveracemp.bsky.social calling on him to ask Keir Starmer to reject Rosebank.
❌️ This would do nothing to lower bills or boost energy security.
💚 We need instead to invest in the green energy sector and create the high quality jobs of the future.

Well done people of Exeter for turning up and opposing the far right marching on our streets. My Swiss immigrant wife and I met several other non-Brits today who have made their home here and who were also part of the "This is what community looks like" brigade.

Yes the CO2 rise 2023-2024 was faster than we predicted at Mauna Loa and was a record rise there - now the WMO confirm the global mean rise was also a record

Also the rate of CO2 rise is now above the IPCC scenarios that limit global warming to 1.5C

🎾Big shout out to Exeter University Tennis Team who spent an afternoon litter picking & gardening in Rougemont Gardens! The gardens have wonderful trees, roses, ginger, anemones. Antisocial behaviour, and the fear of ASB, deters people, but the more we visit the more ASB is deterred!🫶 #loveExeter

And failing to correct the statement despite several requests to do so.
