A nice video from Durham, Smith Galer reflecting on her experiences with Christmas UC. A lot of this chimes with my own quiz experience (including taking home my name sticker, which is permanently displayed on my wall).

This week on @ppfideas.bsky.social, we're exploring "Home Rule for Ireland!"

Home Rule shattered the Liberal Party, broke the women's suffrage movement, brought thousands onto the streets and drove Britain to the brink of civil war.

In the next two episodes, we ask why. So here a quick intro... 🧵

As the year draws to a close, I’m signing off 2025 with a magical find!

An ancient amber bear. Carved some 10,000 years ago, it washed up on a beach at Fanø, Denmark, from a submerged Mesolithic settlement in the North Sea.

✨ Happy New Year all! ✨

I heard from a colleague who led their students in an exercise of what you would have to do in order to use AI responsibly.

In the end the students asked if they *had* to use AI or if they could make life easier for themselves and just do things the old fashioned way.
