I once had to tell the Green Elects Medium account off in public for blatantly copying all the sections of the Previews which had Green Party candidates and passing it off as their own work. It would appear that the Party have not learned their lesson.
I have today been informed that, despite personal assurances to the contrary, the Green party have once again used my image and misrepresented my words on a second leaflet circulated in Gorton and Denton ahead of the by-election. I have now lodged an official complaint with the returning officer.

There was a case arising out of the 2014 European election where a printer's error meant that some Conservative Party letters for the West Midlands were sent out without an imprint. The Conservative election agent applied for relief and the High Court granted it. www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWH...

If the agent can demonstrate that this breach wasn't their fault and they took all available steps to prevent it, etc, then they can apply for relief. This isn't a get out of jail *free* card, though, because relief has to be granted by the High Court and the legal costs will be very expensive.
Greater Manchester Police are investigating Reform over the potential breaking of electoral law in the Gorton & Denton by-election.

The party sent out election materials without identifying they were the promoter.

If Reform won the election the result could be overturned in court.
