I think the entire construct of alpha males and beta males is deeply stupid, totally contradictory to the science and a way for stunted men to make sense of the world.

@nsousanis.bsky.social @davechisholm.bsky.social Check out this unreal "My Life w/ Comics" grid by one of my 12th graders. The use of "subjugated" is a second-language confusion (French) but it works even better in the English sense? This was before we had studied any McCloud or Sousanis! Day 1!
