I wish we could explain to small children that some day, getting in bed and going to sleep will become the highlight of their lives.

Time is an illusion; atomic time doubly so.
The atomic ensemble time scale at the NIST Boulder campus has failed.

@donnamatrix.bsky.social you LOVE dinosaurs and sheep!
Fool's Gold: Into The Bellowing Wilds is a 5e setting full of mechanical dinosaurs, awful sheep, unhinged surge tables and much more - inspired by the web series by Dingo

Today’s Glowingtide gift is the magical Kylandria expansion for Fool’s Gold!

This is one of the best video games I have ever played. I recommend it as strongly as I do Baldur’s Gate 3 and E33. If you at all are interested in RPGs and personal stories, please play this game as soon as you can. It’s not that long and it’s worth every minute.
here from the flavor foley video? wondering who tf the artist is?

its me. i make video games

i made timeloop RPG In Stars and Time and apparently it makes people cry, and it's like 13$ Right Now

I'm at the Target boycott, I'm at the Starbucks boycott, I'm at the combination Target boycott and Starbucks boycott
Beginning Monday, a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate drink will be available exclusively at Starbucks cafés inside Target stores.

The chains are hoping the drink can drum up excitement from customers this holiday season.

Well there goes my favourite 'fun fact' (aside from all my shark-related fun facts).
After Decades, Scientists Have Finally Discovered Tylenol’s Secret Mechanism
Scientists have discovered that acetaminophen doesn’t only work in the brain, it also blocks pain directly in nerve endings. Researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have found that acetamino...

Also me: “Yeah, it was a pretty good game I guess. I had fun, idk.”

It would have taken former xDefiant executive producer Mark Rubin less time to read the story than it did to write this long but inaccurate tweet. As the actual story says, the team that would go on to make Dispatch worked on Splinter Cell in 2017, two years before Rubin even joined Ubisoft.

I don’t understand people who brag about how much things cost. I’m embarrassed when I have to say I spent real money on something. My favorite story to tell is how we got exactly the wedding we were looking for despite paying less for everything together than most people spend on catering.

When ChatGPT was brand new I created an account and tried it. It was neat. I also asked Siri something the other day and accidentally agreed to let her ask ChatGPT my question.

I’ve also asked asking Gemini how to do things in the Google Cloud Console because that place is a labyrinthine nightmare.
Hands up if you've never used Chat GPT ✋

(I feel like Dozer and Tank in The Matrix right now - at first I didn't use it because, rather ironically, I'm lazy and stubborn (peak Taurus energy there) - literally no, don't make me use the new thing I don't wanna. Now I'm glad I didn't 😅)
Probably a good way to tell right now if the job you’re applying for is run by absolute dumbfucks is to ask if they’re using AI.

Hey look, Israel broke the cease-fire, twice, in two different ways, within 24 hours - again.
NEW: Israel informed the UN it will permit only 300 aid trucks into Gaza daily, not the 600 mandated by the ceasefire it just signed.

Man, fans of triple-A open-world games set in Japan around 1600 AD where you play as a woman whose father was killed by a group of masked elites who left her for dead leading her to hunt them down and kill them using a mix of samurai and stealth mechanics are sure eating well this year.

To be clear: every action Israel has taken to kill Palestinian civilians, journalists, doctors, aid workers, etc., has been in the name of destroying Hamas. He claims that Hamas is hiding in a hospital or refugee camps he can bomb it. When he says "finish the job" he means the genocide.

This took 37 years longer than it probably should have but it’s a step in the right direction and will hopefully throw a wrench in Israel’s blatant genocide of the Palestinian people.
Today, Canada recognises the State of Palestine.
