New in JB: Déraspe, Roy et al. perform a comparative genomics study of the PA7-clade of P. aeruginosa - now recognized as a distinct species, Pseudomonas paraeruginosa. This analysis revealed 2 sub-clades, the lack of T3SS & multiresistance.

New in JB: Déraspe, Roy et al. perform a comparative genomics study of the PA7-clade of P. aeruginosa - now recognized as a distinct species, Pseudomonas paraeruginosa. This analysis revealed 2 sub-clades, the lack of T3SS & multiresistance.

A natural compound, echinacoside, controls #c-di-GMP levels in #Pseudomonas aeruginosa via SiaD and is proven effective in combinatorial therapy with tobramycin. No doubt targeting c-di-GMP pathways is a nice path to tackle biofilm and chronic infections. See at www.nature.com/articles/s41...
