I bring this to your attention not to say anything about a man who always wants be to talked about but more broadly: this is why I hate it when people say things like “it’s 3 times smaller” or “it’s 5 times less expensive”

If the right can deflect and ignore every meaningful question thrown their way for decades, surely the left can start doing that with the bullshit smears
Another way that Zohran shows the way forward is he has spent zero time lingering on smears. Part of what killed Corbyn, for example, is that he has to publicly address every fake scandal and it drove long media cycles. The left needs to move past apologizing and constantly justifying itself.
Shooting our videos is a little bit different now.

This is such an interesting and entertaining book, I can't recommend it enough. I didn't think I could be more enthralled by Deadwood but this proved me wrong.

I have a nugget of a thought about how the way the wife deflects his emotional outreach towards a reminder of his underperforming team is an unwitting summary of how American sports are used to keep people in a Truman show -esque state of oblivion but I'm too dumb to articulate it better than this
