Clark: So what are we doing here today? You have already voted to dismantle medicaid, the largest health care program in America. A program that covers 40% of all births in this country. 40% of children in this country. 40% of disabled people in this country.

Those Senators who sold us out for nothing are either the biggest most gullible fools or complicit swindlers secretly part of MAGA. There’s no other option.

Definitely not on the side of the American People or the Democratic Party.

Try very hard to switch ugly/scary/hateful/distressing images or words with something else. Anything to distract myself like brightly colored games, music or gym. Doesn’t always work or not for long. Luckily (?), some other hellacious madness soon comes along to replace the older stuff.

In proof we're all getting old, Jack Abramoff is getting sentenced again, this time for kind of crypto-related fraud that has become fashionable in certain DC quarters.

Both sides rec probation, in part bc of age (66) which seems young for crypto fraud.

These activists engaged in a revolutionary act of nonviolent resistance, but they received prison sentences varying from 8 to 18 years.

41 years ago today, 4 brave peace activists broke into a missile silo in Missouri and smashed the weapons equipment.

The participants were part of the Plowshares movement, an anti-nuclear and Christian pacifist group inspired by biblical teachings to "beat swords into plowshares."
