William Wyler’s epic “BEN HUR” starring Charlton Heston, premiered #OnThisDay in 1959. Here the iconic chariot race which was filmed over 5 weeks on an enormous 18-acre set at Cinecittà Studios in Rome, famous for its intense, practical stunts and large scale, involving 78 horses and 15,000 extras

As a Salvadoran, I'm ashamed.
As an American, I'm enraged.
As a writer, the constant invocation of the word 'terrorist' to achieve political quotas and send innocent people to a regional oubliette, I'm terrified.
This should scare us all.

Restating the obvious.
The places where our children grow, dream, and belong should always be protected. They deserve to feel safe in spaces that are made for them.
