We are a champion for kids in an immigration system not designed to treat them as children, by helping ensure that their best interests come first.

“My feet can rest, but my spirit cannot rest, not while immigrant children cry alone, not while families are torn apart, not while strangers … are treated as anything less than kin.”
“Graf, the pastor of the mostly Hispanic Our Lady of the Heights Catholic Church in Chicago Heights and a longtime member of Priests for Justice for Immigrants, has committed his life to helping immigrants.”

“To tear families apart is to wound the very heart of God,” he said.

The Supreme Court takes up the most unconstitutional thing Trump has done
There is no plausible argument that Trump’s attack on birthright citizenship is constitutional.

Support @theyoungcenter.bsky.social to ensure these kids have child advocates who can help them through this process.
Kids as young as 3 and 4 years old are being hauled into immigration court in Seattle and read their rights.

They’re being told they have the right to an attorney despite having no capacity to hire one or understand what that means.

As Rep Jayapal says, that’s not due process… it’s a farce.

No child should have to face our nation’s complex immigration system alone.
So, see how our programs play a key role in ensuring children who arrive to the U.S. alone have a community in their corner to defend their rights, safety, and well-being.

No mother should ever be separated from her children, especially when she has done everything in her power to live rightfully in the U.S.

To be clear, this is not a system protecting families... it's one that's failing them.
