Need some advice: I’m intentionally boycotting Amazon and Meta apps AND trying to do my best to live a more sustainable lifestyle; but I want a walking pad. Do I shop on Amazon to potentially save $ but buy new, get back on FB to look for preowned, or do I buy new from somewhere else? Help!

I feel like Catch 22 is one of the most obviously leftist books just bc the protagonist is a smart guy who understands the insanity around him in perfect clarity, but nobody takes him seriously because it's also turned him into a miserable, high-strung neurotic

Instead of participating in watching the superb owl w/my fam, I continued my reading of Angela Davis’s “Are Prisons Obsolete?”, with headphones on loud while playing mobile games.
Honestly dunno what’s worse: all the propaganda they’re spewing on the TV, or this book.
I fucking hate it here.

I super failed lol!! I broke 2 of my rules immediately- no buying books nor tech.

I’m a part time librarian and I just want to echo what I’ve seen other librarians say recently: there is a HUGE uptick in requests for social justice, climate justice, abolition, history, etc books and I just want to say nobody is giving up the fight. If anything people are fighting harder #library
