Absolutely disgraceful and despicable. If you are a partner at Paul Weiss or Kirkland & Ellis you should be ashamed of yourself -- that is, if you had any shame left.

You can forget about getting the truth from Donald Trump and his ENTIRE administration because these people will NEVER tell you the truth about anything. The truth will come from outside this administration period.

I don’t care what Donald Trump says about me. I wear his scorn as a badge of honor.

But one lawyer — or even a thousand lawyers — won’t solve this problem alone. It will take the civic courage of thousands of leaders and millions of voters. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/trum...

If I could speak to the heads of big law firms, I would ask: Is the risk of losing some clients worth betraying your oath to the rule of law?

To everyone nodding but refusing to take a stand, I say: You are ignoring Martin Niemöller’s message. It is you that Martin Luther King Jr. was condemning.

Our freedoms are guaranteed to us by the Constitution and laws. The courts enforce those when lawyers hold the government accountable to those laws.

Attacking lawyers like @marcelias.bsky.social and every other lawyer who does this is a threat to all of our freedoms.

We must stand together.

If a law firm won't risk everything to defend itself, what makes you think it will risk anything to defend you?

My advice: Find a law firm that will not back down and will never bend a knee.
