I do think that is the biggest challenge in moving forward in any meaningful way towards a functioning democracy... having the wherewithal to round up the criminals and traitors and throw them in a hole for a very long time - in a reasonable and judicious way.

If history is any guide, whoever is elected in 2028 will be extremely reluctant to undo the things Trump has done and will have to be forced to do it kicking and screaming. They will say "look forward not backward" and "turn the page" and be all reach across the aisle and be bipartisan.
