while its scary that US politicians are trying to fast track so bogus "child online safety" bills at once, I think their behavior belies the fact that they are aware this is a fight they can lose

I called my senators and asked them to oppose this. You should too!
Congress is attempting to fast track KOSA and more than a dozen bills that would restrict internet access, censor speech and increase surveillance under the guise of protecting children.
Committee hearings begin tomorrow.

sometimes I feel weird about engaging w/ pokemon stuff at all because I genuinely do not like the mainline games mechanically (they're not my flavor of turn-based RPG) and I didn't watch the anime or anything growing up but you can't Not have a favorite pokemon in spite of that

I think when you're calling your representatives and/or the Committee majority number, you should be demanding that these bills go through more meetings
they need maximum scrutiny and should not be pushed through as fast as possible
