By the way do yourself a favor, drop what you’re doing, and go watch Rivals (but find yourself a list of TW/CW first)

Also he would repost everything Byron posted
Percy Shelley would be the sort of person you block eventually not for being Problematic (although he was), but mostly because he was just a fucking intolerably twee twatwaffle, LOL

My wife comes in with a brilliant dark horse: King James I of England
You may resurrect one dead artist who would be an amazing shitposter. Who is it?

Mark Twain would be my first choice, but Dorothy Parker would be a close second.

Yes! More scientists! 🐙🐠🐳
Twitter was always a huge part of the international marine conservation congress, and it sucks now.

Good news nerds, now I’m the IMCC co-chair and this week 800 ocean scientists are gonna hear all about Bluesky.

DO NOT wade through rising storm waters. Electrical lines pose a danger, as well as sewage, chemicals, things that can make you sick if you swallow the water.

Even shallow water in motion can have an undertow that can drown you. #hurricane #helene #HurricaneHelp #HurricaneHelene #hurricaneseason

Never forget. Hide from wind, run from water. If storm surge is heading your way, your best bet is to evacuate if at all possible because water is the deadliest part of a hurricane.
Hurricane Helene is starting out big and is likely to be in the top 10% size-wise for hurricanes at this latitude. It's sucking up more moisture and heat over the Gulf of Mexico and will cause storm surges and flooding well inland. By @andreatweather.bsky.social 🧪
Hurricane Helene Will Bring Strong Winds, Flash Flooding and Storm Surge
Hurricane Helene is a large storm set to bring substantial storm surge to the coast of Florida, as well as wind and rain-driven flooding up into Tennessee and South Carolina

NOAA just sent out a "rare news release" urging media to focus the public's attention on Hurricane Helene's potential to cause widespread flooding "hundreds of miles inland," including "the urban areas around Tallahassee, metro Atlanta and western North Carolina, including Asheville."

Almost didn’t make the Teams interview for the new job I start Monday because Teams wouldn’t let me be me, only old-job me
My favorite is that I have logged into my personal email from my work computer (for work reasons like maintaining license to practice), and then Microsoft decided that I obviously only EVER wanted to sign into Teams on my personal account.

IT gave up trying to fix it and replaced my laptop.

I don’t care that it’s old news, I don’t care that his supporters don’t care, I don’t care that this is just how he talks. A presidential candidate saying that people should go to jail for their opinions about his political allies should be a five-alarm fire in the discourse.
