Re Jimmy Kimmel - I wonder if these big networks aren’t shooting themselves in the feet? Why wouldn’t talent just do their own thing now on YouTube or Spotify or their own website rather than risk corporate interests cracking down on them?

Every American should read this ACLU lawsuit about what is happening in Los Angeles and California. It is the stuff of dystopian nightmares. This is not immigration enforcement. It is positively stuffed with videos and articles documenting racial profiling on a scale unseen since Jim Crow.

By far my favorite part of South Korean elections: election night graphics. SBS television station kills it EVERY. TIME. They play these clips all night and they get more and more unhinged and creative as the night goes on.

When I'm depressed, only Australian 80s pop band ICEHOUSE - also a favourite of David Bowie, may I add - can make me feel better. Maybe because it reminds of driving in the car with my dad? (Also because the music video has a mullet AND a saxophone solo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeV_...)
