This is nuts to me.

It’s been registered for over 2 yrs. We know the damn consultants who liked him before he even announced. We saw so many early endorsements & saw staffers that gave some of us pause, aside from iffy compliance…And his vetting was just either nonexistent or willfully ignorant.

We warned folks about Fetterman too, but they didn’t want to hear it.

Apparently, a lot has happened, but not much has changed.

One thing that makes this situation very weird is that he’s not, like, covered in tattoos, right? It’s one thing, it’s sort of in a place of honor, and it’s a very specific and immediately identifiable symbol
If you claim, as Platner just did, that you were completely unaware the tattoo you got a decade ago is actually a Nazi logo then you are not intellectually competent to be a United States Senator.

This is literally the kindest interpretation I could make of this situation.
Look, Croatia is a country with some history of mishegas re: Nazism — _I_ know that, and I've never been there. But after getting a tattoo, if you realize that its symbolism is bad news you can get it covered!

Vought said he was gonna do this sorta stuff during his confirmation.

Susan Collins said some of what he was pledging to do was illegal but it'd be settled in court. Then she voted to confirm him anyway!

Does she think there's no record of this stuff? It was only several months ago. #MEpolitics

Whereas NYT coverage of the Anchorage summit goes to great lengths to indulge White House spin, WSJ's coverage is trenchant, to-the-point and reflects merciless analysis of the realities of the meeting and what it achieved. WSJ practices journalism. I don't frankly understand what NYT does.

Yair Rosenberg: Something many do not know: The Biden administration engaged in a public and private pressure campaign to compel Netanyahu to reject the ethnic cleansing calls of his far-right allies. It worked. Then Biden lost, the pressure stopped and Trump reversed everything.

Trump turned a far-right fantasy—ethnic cleansing in Gaza—into U.S. policy. He needs to reject it.
