To be clear (since NPR isn't), the "joke" is premised on the fact that Trump is kidnapping people w/o due process and shipping them to offshore concentration slave camps in defiance of court orders, human rights accordances, the U.S. constitution, all tenets of common decency, and international law.

The Trump Admin's assault on working people continues.

They are now trying to restrict student loan assistance for many in critical professions, including nurses.

These Americans provide essential functions for all of us. This attack will make staffing shortages worse & harm everyone.
Full list of degrees not classed as ‘professional’ by Trump admin
Certain students may no longer receive the same loan for their studies as what counts as "professional" will determine how much they get.

Yep. I've been waiting for EU spooks to start reminding Trump that they've got their own capabilities.
Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.

Here’s what to look out for:

And it's a story that illuminates the ways the U.S. is failing to control what could become the next pandemic. 🧵

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.
