Russia dismissing Trump’s offer is also a complete lack of respect for Trump. They could have accepted a 30 day ceasefire to reset relations, they could have countered with much more severe conditions, instead the blew Trump off. Trump got played, hard!
Saying it again, Putin doesn’t want peace and Trump’s approach damages prospects for a ceasefire.
Trump is pressuring Ukraine and Europe, cutting military aid and winding-down cooperation. And there are deep fissures forming in our alliance with NATO.
