Last year I bought a kit to make this ornament. This year I made it again by using the first one as my model. The kit came with the hat so I just felted one for this guy. #ArtAdventCalendar #needlefelting #fiberarts

Took advantage of our long, lovely autumn by enjoying a walk around Sloan's lake yesterday. It was good to forget about our government for a while. #Denver #nature #colorado #photography

Good morning. Cosmo is annoyed that I'm trying to photograph this lovely dahlia and insisted being in the picture even though he hates having his picture taken. #cats #tuxedo #flowers

Every major talent that works for ABC and Disney should refuse to show up for work until Jimmy Kimmel is reinstated.

Marvel movies need to shutdown. Ditto the sitcoms.

Collective boycott.

Corporations love money more than anything,& this will harm them and force them to do the right thing.

The MSNBC commentator saying that most political violence has historically come from the left just once again showed how we suffer from failing to learn history. Lynching, pogroms, race riots, the political violence that ended Reconstruction, and against the Civil Rights Movement. Come on.

I really was not prepared for the fact that so many of our major institutions would be inhabited by such cowards. From Congress to media/tech corporations to *some law firms and universities. I guess I watched too many “heroic protagonist” films… so I didnt expect so many people to suck so bad.

Oh I hate everything about this.

Obviously the answer is no, dear god, no, but anybody who loves a child—not even is a parent, but is an aunt, an educator, a neighbor—should know this shit is being pushed hard and it is HARMFUL.
“Children, especially in early developmental stages, are acutely sensitive to tone, timing, and emotional mirroring. A child playing with an AI toy will believe they’re being understood, when in fact, the system is only predicting plausible next words.”
Could an AI Barbie Take the Place of Real Friends?
Are AI toys the future of playtime or a risk to emotional development? A collaboration between Mattel and OpenAI raises sobering questions.
