CALLS ARE WORKING - it has bought us precious time, but we NEED to keep the pressure up.

Tomorrow is the cloture vote.

KEEP CALLING: (202) 224-3121 ☎️☎️☎️

Tell your Dem Senator to vote NO on Cloture and NO on the Republican spending bill.

Do NOT assume your Senator will be good on this. Trust me.
🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

This website makes it very easy to make comments on all 3 current anti-trans passport policy proposals. It literally will take you no more than 10 minutes and can at least let this administration know many of us stand with the trans community against their hate
When I moved to Canada from the U.S., I took it for granted that I could get back relatively easily. Because I'm trans, Trump is making it more difficult to see my friends and family. Please take 10 minutes to speak out against his anti-trans passport policy here: transequality.org/news/freedom...
FREEDOM TO FLY: Take Action to Protect Trans Passport Access | A4TE
The U.S. Department of State has opened public comment periods on three important passport applications, and we must flood all three with our opposition to anti-trans changes before it's too late.

So I guess what I'm saying is, even if you don't care about disabled people, if you *do* like the Civil Rights Act, you also have to care about this. 🦗🤷🏻🫠

If you’re a nondeaf scholar who researches deaf people and signed languages, it’s important to be open about your positionality & to be open to critical feedback from deaf scholars and deaf community members. Think of feedback as care for more holistic & ethical research, not as gatekeeping 🐦 🐦

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Gaza is a disability justice issue. If you believe in and purport to practice disability justice, you must speak up. There is no excuse.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says Gaza now has the highest per capita rate of child amputees, with 'many losing limbs and undergoing surgeries without anaesthesia.'
