Yes, CECOT is a concentration camp in the guise of a prison. The Venezuelans were the first people to *ever* be released from CECOT since Bukele opened the prison in January 2023. Seriously. The first.
These are concentration camps. No other way to describe them. Truly horrific, and none of it surprising in the least.
30 minutes. Some deportees described sexual assault. Detainee describes the guard sexually assaulting most detainees. Lights left on all day. Prisoners not given clean water.
Now the DHS tour. Nobody spoke to the detainees. Noem's video was in a different area of the prison.

He is fundamentally misunderstanding the GOPs tact here.

A lot of it is about losing networking and targeted audience. Most of ENVTubing is not on here because Holo, Niji, and the biggest indies are not. Those creators see continued success sitting on top of the industry on Twitter, and everyone wants to network with them, so why would anyone ever move?
Trying to understand the psychology behind this.
Are they attached to their “follow count”? I was quickly able to build the same following over here, except there are no bots or people who followed me the one day they used Twitter back in 2009 then never logged back on.

VT’s reputation is tanking, though I still think your average person is indifferent to the very concept of VTubing. They don’t associate the entire medium with the worst of it. They still think of VTubing as the funny shark girl at the Dodgers game or Ironmouse, if they even think of it at all.
Ana, you think that perhaps the reason Vtubing doesn't do as big here might have to do with the perception of it being huge among the right wing? At least for the lay person, mixed with anime still having some stigma surrounding itself.
