Incidentally have you heard the story about him running for JCR president (basically student union president)? He was unopposed for the role but one of my best friends had the inspired idea to campaign for re-open nominations (R.O.N) which we duly did and ended up outpolling him.

Print out this article and pin it to the door of No. 10 immediately.
This is outstanding. God knows what Labour is doing: legitimising the racism that'll be its undoing, losing the coalition which put it in office, trying to secure voters who will never support it, digging its own moral grave.

Currently drafting a letter to @ndironsmp.bsky.social about stripping back of EHCPs.

The core point is this: we knew before the election that money was tight.

BUT: we voted Labour so they could protect our most vulnerable from the worst effects of it.

It's quite extraordinary to regret your vote.

🧵 This is a perfect example of what I've be describing as disordered discourse, and it's threat to democracy. Politicians are afraid to speak openly about key issues.

Why? Because disordered discourse has captured the system itself—forcing obedience, punishing dissent, and making truth irrelevant.

I am grateful to Michael Rosen for two things: how Bear Hunt inspired an absolutely obsessive love of reading in my daughter; and for revealing where in Wood Green I was able to get the best falafel this world has to offer.

Look, all I’m saying is that there must be more than pee on that tape.

No grown man - US President or otherwise - would debase themselves THIS much for just a bit of pee.

Sometimes I think we over complicate the ideology and the politics etc. Everything you’re told as a child is that the bullies don’t win. Including, and especially, while you’re being bullied yourself. And then the whole of 2025 has been a circus of geopolitical bullying. So it’s deeply distressing.
