six shadowed viziers sit in counsel, each whispering into the king. the sound is like unwinding threads of gossamer silk, unravelling the tapestry of his mind. gaunt and looking haunted beyond measure his majesty raises a hand, turning to face the crowd. "jeggings are back, also boots with the fur"

Drained, Chester sat down and waited for the police to arrive. Staring at Alan’s still-warm body laying among the empty shells, he felt no remorse. There were two sacred rules. You didn’t touch another man’s wife, or another man’s nuts. His ears perked up as the sound of sirens rose in the distance.

I ran across this white thistle in the woods a few years back. It was just a quick snap on my phone but is one of my favorite photos that I've ever taken.

Sepultura. “Refuse/Resist.” 1993. I can’t think of a metal album that’s aged better than Chaos AD — why say anything, just let the music do the talking

In southwest Michigan there is a state game area known as Purgatory. It's roughly five thousand acres of land for hunting that is open to the public. Lots of woods, old dirt roads, trails, streams, marshes, and steams. I stumbled across this one day wandering through woods there.

I dabble in odds and ends in art. Digital, traditional, wood carving among others. Here's a staff a carved a few years ago and gifted to my sister. Hoping to start a new one soon. My brother in law holding for scale.

I love Michigan summer sunsets. I Miss hearing the Robin's singing as the sun sets.

A reminder of warmer days streamside, at one of my most favorite places in the world. Stay warm friendos!

A reminder of better days. I have made it a point over these last few years to take lots of photos and videos during the spring and summer to remind me of the sunshine and warmer days during the long dark days of winter.
