There’s a moment, when you’re just looking at stars, they become a constellation.

It was the same with ‘Villager’. @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social

Because some damn fool asked, here's a thread about Baxter.

This was taken on the day I brought home Baxter and threw away all hope of an easy life.

Look at him. Absolutely irresistible.

And that's how they get you, the utter bastards

Brilliant journalism as always from @carolecadwalla.bsky.social & @thenerve.news

This needs amplifying. Perhaps @ZackPolanski.bsky.social could give it volume on Kuenssberg tomorrow, as he did during #bbcqt

Who else is on? Bring it up. Force it into the discussion if necessary!
Next week, Reform faces a key by-election in Wales. Yet voters in Caerphilly know none of this.

Even tho Reform’s candidate is Nathan Gill’s former assistant.

We are at a critical point of failure in Britain. The delay of the authorities, the silence of the media..

If all you ask from life is a rollercoaster of a book with good twist, a funny bit with a goat, and a memorable title, allow me to present "A Torrid Lamentation on the Dearth of Validity in a Mechanised Ethos, Volume 2".

No, sorry: "Baby's Breath"

My bad.

Blustery day, isn't it? Here's the National Grid: Live generation data. Wind and solar are generating 74.2% of our electricity. Gas is generating 13.1%. And yet our household electricity prices are pegged to... the volatile price of gas. Which is the basis on which the right attacks... renewables.

Things only a comedian/producer would post: I AM LOOKING FOR A TRUMPETER IN BRISTOL AVAILABLE THIS WEEK.

Long shot, but let me know. I will not block joke answers as some people do but I also won't laugh at them. I *might* roll my eyes indulgently.

This is a fascinating and scary little video. And what South Korea is experiencing is only slightly ahead of where the UK and many advanced economies are.

Without immigration, we are FUCKED. I mean TOTALLY FUCKED. Yet all parties compete to stop migration. It's madness.

This led me down a delightful rabbit-hole, where I met Jann's creepy cloth old lady (simultaneously noted and ignored by Wikipedia), a cloth cowboy (steadfastly denied by Google's AI, but there in the cropped region on the right of the used photograph), and, inevitably, Adolf Hitler.

A word on immigration. Don't prejudge this, just listen to the data, and then consider what the solution is.

The UK has a falling birth rate. This means that - unless things change - each generation will be 25% smaller than the one before.

I hope to do more semi abstract pieces like this.

I've sold a couple I think.

Agree. It was really quite something.
My favourite of this week’s Six Things. A 2-minute film about the guys employed to drive the route of a Tour de France stage beforehand and alter anything painted on the road by fans that might be unsuitable for broadcast.

Here they are turning a cock and balls into an owl.
