🚨BREAKING🚨

MPs have voted to PASS our bill to establish a UK-EU customs union.

The Prime Minister must now listen to his own MPs, drop his self-imposed red lines and finally go for proper growth through an ambitious trade deal with the EU.

🎄 Beautiful Stokesay Castle surrounded by snow-covered fields is Day 6 in our #Shropshire advent calendar. I thought I’d just follow the footpath, take a picture and quickly head back to the car - but I had to wait in an icy wind for an hour until the sun came out from behind the clouds! 🎅

This is wake-up call for Labour MPs. 👋

Vote for our EU customs union bill on Tuesday so we can start to undo the damage done by Brexit.

The silent majority of British people are crying out for politicians to come up with practical solutions on immigration.

That means recruiting more caseworkers, getting the backlog down, letting asylum seekers work and pay their way and creating safe and legal routes for refugees.

Three fantastic Liberal Democrat wins last night in Watford, Devon and Torridge, including a stinking GAIN from the Conservatives, with Reform failing to take the seat.

Huge congratulations to the amazing campaign teams on the ground!

We've just had the most amazing night of live music, at debut show of London Concertante's Radiohead Reimagined by Candlelight (in Shrewsbury Abbey). If you're a #Radiohead fan, I cannot recommend this enough if it's coming to your neck of the woods. Felt like a true labour of love.

So as expected the brazenly corrupt EHRC have rushed out insane "guidance" calling for a total ban of trans people from public spaces. From work to shops to school to service stations. Full segregation

It's completely worthless. I'm not doing it

She’s also calling for further human rights abuses and making clear that compromising with bigots is a fools game.

They’re both playing politics on this and a Plague on Both Their Houses is the only reasonable response.

Trans people are not responsible for their misogyny and political failures.

I am increasingly disappointed that the concerns of the #LGBTQ+ community over what the Supreme Court judgement means for them are not yet being addressed. I have written to the Government asking them to make clear how trans and non binary rights will be protected.

See if you can spot what's missing from write-up:

I was today years old when I bothered to listen to the lyrics of T'pau's China in Your Hand and realise it wasn't some twee love song but some sort of sci fi cautionary tale. A few minutes' research confirms it was inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Every day's a school day!

Against my better judgement, I've stayed on Twitter, though using it less. Now this has happened, wondering whether to keep myself blocked forevermore. (I assume the suspicious activity is failing to post tons of MAGA misinformation. )
