Did you know that spinal cord injury can induce a remote effect on the cerebral cortex?

I did not. There are very few studies about that!

After years of wondering, I finally vibe-coded my blog!

🧠Neuroscience has long told a neuron-centered story, but maybe that’s only half the picture. #Astrocytes, the so-called housekeepers, may hold some hidden insights.

My first intro post is live!

do u know of someone who may be interested in starting a lab as a junior PI in Korea, to work on perceptual decision-making in mice? besides postdocs, we would consider someone fresh out of grad school too, or someone who wants to be a staff scientist for the longer term. 1/

First post on here! Sharing a paper that I wrote with some friends on our thoughts on the role of astrocytes in the brain. We put forward the idea that astrocytes provide context to neurons and that this is one of their primary functions in the brain! Let us know what you think!

Hippocampal neurons code individual episodic memories in humans.

The neurons don't code for a particular element in the episode (e.g., concept or time). They code for the conjunction of the different elements.
