Funny how people‘s behaviour changes in a football match! Spectators giving me vile abuse in the game thinking it is okay to swear at somebody because you’ve paid £10 to get into a ground, but surprisingly quiet as a mouse when I stood next to them in the bar!

For all problems on the pitch since Jan 2024, it's always worth looking at the bigger picture and, in so many areas, the growth of the club in such a short space of time, without the club acquiring any debt, is staggering

This may be a controversial opinion, but I don’t believe that awful football teams who get their captain sent off for Referee abuse are in much of a position to criticise anybody else’s performance 🤷♂️

I was thinking earlier of my trip to France last year. I cycled to, and walked along. the Omaha beach, where thousands of Americans died to fight fascism.
I stoop atop those cliffs and walked through the cemetery of 10,000 American graves.
