I read the Tatiana Schlossberg essay in the NYer. To me the main feeling coming away is extrapolating the grief it inspires to so many more people. The feeling of "I am a healthy person" and "I got this disease that isn't supposed to be common for healthy people my age" is illusory and temporary.
