A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

The VA’s unilateral termination of union contracts for ~360k workers represents a loss of 2.5% OF ALL UNION MEMBERS IN AMERICA.

I just called my sens and rep to demand this. The very kind person who answered the phone at my congresswoman's office said that this was the first she heard of it (this is fine, the story just broke), but that means I may have been one of the first to call. Please don't let me be the last
so, arresting judges should be more than enough reason for complete obstruction at in the house and senate. complete obstruction. anything you can do. interrupt proceedings, deny consent, holds on nominations.

Just circling back on this. We were all sufficiently pissed off. So glad you voted against the CR...(checks notes, sighs)...oh
R’s have the votes in the House to cut Medicaid. That could/should change. Voting for the “framework” might be easier than voting to actually enact Medicaid cuts, but R’s won tonight. We will fight this in Senate but it will come down to people outside of the capitol being sufficiently pissed off.
