A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

The Sega Dreamcast is 26 years old today. I was all in on this amazing system that should have cemented Sega in the console wars, but it failed. Still, it has its fans who remember the promise and impressive capabilities of this short-lived console.
