Speaking of merchants of doubt, I strongly recommend the documentary Merchants of Doubt (2014) if you haven’t already seen it. Learning about how brazen the pundits-for-hire were/are will piss you off, but you’ll also be armed with the knowledge of their dirty tricks.
The "Merchants of Doubt" are tireless in trying to gin up controversy around basic tenets of climate science that have been well established for decades. And now they have an Administration in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry
