I once backed up my car so Richard Gere could drive past me in a small parking lot. My wife was inside a store at the time and was very upset to have missed him.

Talk on my dead thread this morning prompted a question for the Jerrybase crew. The Dead played Estimated Prophet at (I think) 39 straight shows in 1977. Would you be able to find out if that was their longest streak of shows playing a certain song? (Excluding drums & space).

I find myself wondering what happened on the dead’s fall 72 tour between the crisp snare sound of the Houston shows and the distinct lack of drums (and Keith) on the later shows of the tour.
