I saw my first dead show at MSG that night. Seems like Jerry had a busy day that day.

I have this 45 at home and I display it in my living room. Classic cover

It's got a great melody to it and certainly had room to explore and stretch it out, too bad it was so short lived. The bridge part was a little clunky though.

I came here to make a Johnny Salami reference but you beat me to it, kudos

2 things in particular that I am excited about are the red zone splits and the 3rd/4th down breakdowns. A lot of scoring crews in the 80s did not bother breaking down 3rd/4th and the previously existing 3rd down data had to be taken with a grain of salt. And the 4th down data barely existed.

I paid money for this cassette and almost immediately regretted it

Would be a great idea if Relisten worked reliably. If anything else in my life worked that poorly I would ditch it and never look back. But I can’t quit you Relisten!

I find this to be true of most flavored seltzers and waters, to varying degrees. Volvic lemon water is amazing when ice cold and awful if not.

I love the repeated attempts to get Bob to do Lazy Lightning and he’s too wily to accept the gambit

I prefer Brady on the waterslide

Nice! I was at 3/27/94, I don’t recall the Jack A Roe off the top of my head but I remember the Dew being tremendous.

I always enjoyed when the kids wanted to watch this one. I still chuckle thinking about the bit when Doofenshmirtz does the DJ set “there’s a platypus controlling me…”

They were called Keystone, played around NY from late 70s to mid 90s I think. Did a mix of originals and covers, with a fair amount of Dead.

Oh very cool I didn’t realize that I will check out the documentary.

In Heads, you had the calendar for a random month at Wetlands in late 80s or early 90s and my uncle’s band was in the listings, I got a kick out of that and so did he.

Will let you know if I need any other help, thank you!

Bummer, that was basically how I found out about shows back then. Wait for that new edition and check the listings immediately.

But I do have a newspapers account and I think I found the Morphine show at Knitting Factory in June 95. Another mystery solved.

Are the village voice archives online? That would really send me down the rabbit hole on this shows list. Now I’m trying to track down a date for Morphine at the Knitting Factory in around the same era.
