Having a high time, living the good life.

Deadhead, music lover, almost decent guitarist, into skiing, cooking, Liverpool, Knicks, works in sports tv production
I have a playlist of guilty pleasures with the loose definition of songs I like by artists that I generally dislike or don’t want to dig any further into

Some examples
Aerosmith - what it takes
Bob Seger - night moves
Elton John - I guess that’s why they call it the blues

There’s a lot of great graffiti on the streets of Athens but the pigeon with the I ❤️NY button stood out

I once backed up my car so Richard Gere could drive past me in a small parking lot. My wife was inside a store at the time and was very upset to have missed him.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Does anyone know where to find the Wetlands monthly concert calendar or a list of shows there in the mid 90s?

Been compiling a list of shows I was at and trying to nail down the date of a Toots show there. I think summer 96 and it was sweltering (Sweatlands) and we came outside to a thunderstorm

Talk on my dead thread this morning prompted a question for the Jerrybase crew. The Dead played Estimated Prophet at (I think) 39 straight shows in 1977. Would you be able to find out if that was their longest streak of shows playing a certain song? (Excluding drums & space).

I find myself wondering what happened on the dead’s fall 72 tour between the crisp snare sound of the Houston shows and the distinct lack of drums (and Keith) on the later shows of the tour.

nice call Dave, one head I know has been banging the drum for this one for a while now.
Hey now! The Grateful Dead's 2025 Dave's Picks subscriptions early bird pricing ends on Friday, so if you're thinking of subscribing to the series for 2025, might as well do it now, and save a load of money. Here's the cover art for Dave's Picks Vol. 52, from 10/2/76 in Cincinnati. www.dead.net

Cranking 9/8/73 while I watch a thunderstorm on the porch. It’s like an Old Milwaukee commercial.
