tvs are so standardized now that i feel like they all function perfectly fine as tvs. the cheaper ones just don’t always function super well as computers lol
Helped my parents pick out a new TV and the model they ended up going with (some cheap TCL Fire TV from Costco) had poor reviews mainly because its software is crap.
So I took a gamble and decided to see how annoying it would be if I made it be a dumb TV and never got it online and... seems fine?

for me it’s ca. 5 times a month LMAOOOOO
problem with being an ingredients household is that circa five times a year I actually really don't want to cook and end up having a truly unhinged lunch of, to take today as an example, "muesli, kimchi, a tin of tuna and some raspberries"
