I didn't take responsibility for the ancestors who somehow passed on to me the genetic marker for ankylosing spondylitis. My bad.

My great uncle, Rev. Claude Hayward, was chaplain on HMCS Prince Robert and would have known all of these men, as well as the Canadian prisoners they liberated - he had been aboard in 1941 when Prince Robert brought the Canadian force to Hong Kong.

Proud of Queen's Gaels football for the season, the Yates Cup victory and going to the Mitchell Bowl. Couldn't get by a strong Saskatchewan Huskies team to reach the Vanier Cup.
