1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.
It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.
It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

I mean, the Democrats branded it the "Green New Deal" specifically so people would connect it to FDR's popular and successful jobs programs and the media convinced voters it was just a radical woke conspiracy/Chinese climate hoax thing. It's the propaganda machine more than the message itself.
Another fundamentally cynical aspect of this narrative is the idea that pundits like Douthats wouldn't *also* accuse Democrats of radicalism if they passed a bunch of 'kitchen-table' policies. Are we really gonna pretend the NYT op-ed page would support a $20 minimum wage?
This right here, this exact sentence, is THE problem in American political journalism.
