Death by Lightning on Netflix is wonderful. Expertly performed, with scenery and costumes that seem like you could reach out and feel them. Now I need to read the book it's based on; I only knew Garfield/ Guiteau from his brief ballad in ASSASSINS. I'm glad to learn more of the story. 🖤

So, we likely wouldn't have bitched about BONE LAKE the entire drive home, if the schlock slasher we glimpsed in the trailers was in the same genre/ ballpark/ universe as the nonsense we just watched. Here are some taglines that would better represent this shamefully mismarketed film.
