My experience has consistently been that the #ADA is more porous than any of us what to admit. I can't tell if it's just because I'm #autistic, but I'm surprised that people with disabilities get chased out and often we have no actual legal recourse. But we hear about people suing all the time. 1/🧵

I know this is pedantic, but Kim Davis was not "jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses." She was jailed for contempt of court because she refused to follow a court order (she had stopped issuing all marriage licenses). NYT makes it sound like the Woke Police broke down her door.
