Everyone I work with lives in totally different places than me, but I'm still expected to waste hours of my life and a pretty penny to be in our physical office every week. Why? B/c the government wants commuters to spend money in town.

Capitalism forces me to wake up at 5:45 because corporate landlords drove the cost of housing so high I can only afford to live 90 minutes away from my office. 99% of my work could be done at home, and 99% of it could be done at literally any hour of the day. I do worse work being forced to do this.
