I still need to do my annual skin cancer screening & have put that off for waaaay longer than a year, so 🤞 that is uneventful & I can be more diligent going forward with those. 'cause that's one that does run in my family, so I'm all about sunscreen, hats, UPF clothing if I'll be outside a lot, etc

Wish more people would wear clothes in the summer! It is not pretty out here. The tourists are the mostly nude ones. Patagonia, Columbia, Coolibar, Kuel and others make high UPF clothing which also breathes. Mum is always covered and wears a hat. Had a large melanoma removed from an arm this year.

Tanning culture is really bad. It causes cancer, and people are getting cancer at younger ages. It causes premature aging, and then people freak the heck out. We need to normalize UPF clothing and thin, long sleeves, even in summer.
