Yesterday UPS delivered a package for someone who no longer lives here. I've gotten lots of wrong mail for the previous resident, but a package is a new one! Called customer service, and they are sending someone tomorrow to come pick it back up. People, set up a forwarding address!

Went to Snake and Jake's tonight, and I'm not sure what I enjoyed more: the far from mainstream 90s playlist (more Enigma in one week?!) or the weird looks from the young kids at our group of over 45 year olds out having a good time on a Tuesday.

Of course, my husband is out of town and one of our smoke/CO alarms goes off. Just one of 3 that are all close together, so a malfunction. I just love having to drag out the ladder at 1am.

I stripped the bed, so I closed out the cat to keep him off the mattress cover, and he's throwing a fit howling in the hallway as if there are zero other soft surfaces for his nap.

My favorite person at work left. This was the one coworker to whom I could vent freely (and vice versa). I really appreciated that when things got super frustrating, and I'm not sure how well I'm going to cope with the BS without that outlet.
