I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

feel like I’m saying this every day but Dems struggle with doing the right thing because they don’t have core beliefs. it’s a transactional party trying to keep a coalition together rather than a party with a moral center.

Any person framing fascist attacks, personal, systemic, or physical, on a minority group as a "distraction" tactic is as much a cog in their machine of hate as the fascists themselves.

I know we live in a corporate Oligarchy, but I've never seen it so transparently so.
