I'm in Las Vegas on a work trip and (uncharacteristically) decided to go out last night instead of crashing at my hotel. If you're in a city with #MeowWolf, DON'T miss it! Seriously one of the coolest experiences, and this one has a crazy interactive live performance happening for summer #OmegaMart

First Father's Day since going no contact with the waste of space who calls himself my father. Genuinely didn't realize how good it would feel. Thought maybe I would feel guilty or sad, but honestly I'm just content. I guess I should have taken this step years ago 😅

Was able to spend my mom's birthday with her for the first time in almost 10 years. Living far away from loved ones is complicated, even when (especially when) it's necessary. But today was full of laughter and love and moments that I hope will sustain us through the coming months.

Today's drive was brought to you by the Pennsylvania Turnpike (particularly the western section): a much needed reminder that not everything is as flat and geographically uninteresting as central Indiana

Road tripping to my hometown to see my mom for her birthday. Today I'm in bumfuck-nowhere but yesterday we stopped at the Cincinnati Zoo. So many cute animals including baby cheetahs and baby meerkats!

If they suspend Habeas Corpus, it won't just be for "migrants" or "illegals" or "criminals." If they suspend Habeas Corpus it will be for you and me and whomever this regime decides is unfit, undesirable, and a threat or a problem. This is how it works. This is how it's always worked.

Book #15 of 2025: When a sequel is so good you want to immediately go back and re-read #1. The author says Ambit's Run will only be a duology, but I'll hold out hope for more of this amazing found-family space crew.

How about bring them all home

We should be demanding all the people denied due process and exported to a foreign gulag, be brought home.

All of them.

LOOK WHAT JUST GOT HERE

AUTHOR COPIES 😁😁😁😁

I adore this cover and I’m so glad the book will be out there in the world as a tangible object

this one doesn’t have the ghost of Oscar Wilde quoting the Canterville Ghost but it does have nosferatu, plural, in Manhattan, bunny fangs and all.

When your therapist ends the appointment with "How about we start meeting more often?" That's how we survive the end of the world, right?

Kidnapping.

Capturing a person against their will without due process is called kidnapping.

Transporting them to another country without due process is called human trafficking.

A squalid extrajudicial prison for people found guilty of no crime is called a concentration camp.
stop calling things deportation just because they call it deportation.

-You cannot legally deport people without due process.

-You cannot legally deport citizens.

-They are defining down deportation to break the law.
Leavitt confirmed that the WH is working on deporting US citizens to El Salvador

Book #14 of 2025: Some of these were tough to get through because we're so much closer to their reality now than we were when they were written. Hard to pick a favorite, but I really enjoyed Our Aim Is Not to Die, Calendar Girls, and O.1..

Bought Strange Beasts at a local bookstore for myself as a self-indulgent birthday present last fall. Devoured it in just a couple days and have been crossing my fingers for a sequel since then. Finding out we get more of Sam and Hel is the best news! I can't wait!! 🖤💀
I get to write more Sam + Hel!!!! 😭😭😭

Book #10 of 2025: First re-read of the year, and loved it as much, if not more, than the first time. Love the idea of there being a mirror world of your own out there that is similar but so different from your own. And also, ✨magic✨
