A young elephant approached his human mother, tears in his eyes. “Mother, the other children tease me, telling me that I am adopted. But you told me I would become a human when I hit puberty. Who is telling the lie?” The mother frowned. “We must wait and see.” Who was telling the lie? The young elephant was lying. He was drowning and had gone insane due to oxygen deprivation. He was in his 50s and was wanted for killing a bank.

A man and his shoes were having an affair when his wife discovered them "in that holy moment." Shocked but not unhappy she wished her husband well on his new life and granted him an amicable divorce. Due to her numerous good qualities she had many suitors. She lined up the three most promising and had each of them describe why they should become her new husband. The first man explained that he had infinite money due to a marvelous device and could shower her with wealth. The second man explained that although he was dollar poor he had discovered a technique that would leave her breathless. He explained the technique and it sounded like he knew his stuff. The third man stepped forward and removed his troll mask to reveal himself as her husband. He explained that the shoes had died somehow and he wanted her back. Who did she choose? She chose all three. Sometimes you really can have it all.

An old man was close to death when he was visited by a genie who offered him eternal life in exchange for one year of his life. The old man chuckled quietly to himself, for he had less than a year to live. "Sure thing!" he said. The genie turned him into a stone with a heartbeat and a brain. The man tried to scream but found that he had no mouth. He had thousands of nerve endings which were all set to maximum pain and hated it most of all when it rained. Was the genie out of line here? Depends on who you ask. The genie was tried in a genie court of law for this and found to be innocent, though.

Panel 1: We're looking at a mostly featureless little UPA style man sleeping against a tree with his arms behind his head. He's got a speech bubble with a saw sawing lumber. If you're young or stupid (or both) and don't know, this symbolizes snoring. Panel two: Same deal only now there's a man dressed all in black standing and looking at the saw in the speech bubble. He has no eyebrows. Up to you how you wanna feel about this guy but I'd recommend feeling uneasy. Your call, though. Panel three: This is where things really take a turn. This new guy, he's reaching into the sleeping man's speech bubble and grabbing his saw. He has no respect for the conventions of comics. Panel four: That weird guy is sawing the sleeping man's stomach open. Blood everywhere. He's using the damn saw from his speech bubble, the freak. The sleeping man's wide awake now and screaming but his speech bubble is mostly obscured by the weird man who speaks softly and simply says "I'm the devil."
